Clear countermeasures against risk
Writing Guide
•
The frequency of configuring a separate risk section is very low. This is because many startups tend to try to hide risks during the pitch stage or address them only during the Q&A stage.
◦
B2C Sector: Prioritizing growth speed and market dominance while clearly addressing risks (regulations, intensifying competition) can also be a differentiator.
◦
Media/Content/Education Sector: Investor anxiety is high in the media industry due to changing trends and significant regulatory risks. Investor confidence can be enhanced by proactively addressing risks and countermeasures.
•
Core Risk: Honestly admit to the 1 to 3 most critical risks in the market, competition, technology, regulations, etc.
•
Clear Countermeasures: Merely acknowledging the risk is insufficient. Demonstrate management and crisis management capabilities by presenting specific defense strategies and solutions for each risk, one line at a time.
Principle
•
Utilize the risk section not as a section to expose 'our weaknesses,' but as a section for 'building long-term trust.'
